That being said, The advancement of printing technology has helped the range of shade variation to be more consistent in their categories. We like to stick to 4 shades which would be Uniform V1, Slight V2, Moderate V3, and Random V4. Having these broken up helps the customers differentiate the style and look they desire.

uniform v1

Differences among pieces from the same production run are minimal.

slight v2

Clearly distinguishable differences in texture and/or pattern within similar colors.

moderate v3

While the colors and/or texture present on a single piece of tile will be indicative of the colors and/or texture to be expected on the other tiles, the amount of colors and/or texture on each piece may vary significantly. It is recommended that the range be viewed before selection.

Random v4

Random color and/or texture differences from tile to tile, so that one tile may have totally different colors and/or textures from that on other tiles. Thus, the final installation will be unique. It is recommended that the range be viewed before selection.
